Why I provide at-home pet euthanasia

There is truly no better way to honor our beloved pets last wishes than to help them pass, when its time, peacefully and painlessly in their sleep, at home, surrounded by family. I firmly believe it, because it is a desire we all would want when that time comes.

What pet parents are saying

Dr. Karen was so patient, caring, professional, compassionate and empathetic with our saying goodbye to our beloved Hendrix. She made it so much easier for all of us. Thank you so much Dr. Karen and thank you to the Koda Pet program. We’ve been recommending your program and Dr. Karen to our friends and family.

A big thank you to Dr. Whala for her help when I needed her. She was prompt, courteous, professional, friendly, and caring. She explained everything to me beforehand and during the procedure. I finally got to hold this stray cat I had been feeding for 3 years, but wouldn't let me touch him. That meant a lot to me.

Dr. Karen Whala is such a blessing to us. I was so touched on how she approached my Bella. Her presence comforted Bella which I never seen happened before because Bella was a nervous dog around people but not with Dr. Karen Whala. It was as if she knew she was there to help. She also helped us through the difficult process and made sure Bella transitioned painlessly and peacefully. Thank you Dr.Karen Whala for your professionalism, kindness and dedication to our beloved pets, our family members.

Dr Whala has helped us through the passing of two of our dogs with a kind, compassionate, caring understanding of what we as pet owners are going through. When Dr Whala came out recently to help with what we thought was a final goodbye to our girl Bindi she let us know that Bindi had a tumor but with some medicine she recommended we were able to be with Bindi an additional 2 months. Dr Whala has a true understanding of what we as dog owners feel about our furry friends, she knows they are our family and we love them with all our hearts. There is never any rush when Karen visits your home for the final goodbye, the last moments of our babies is so difficult and Karen understands the pain we are going through. There isn't anyone I could ever recommend that would be better to help with the final goodbye for your beloved pets.

I used Codapet At Home Euthanasia when my beloved dog's cancer was too painful. Dr. Whala was wonderful, and I wouldn't have it any other way (no barking, clinical surroundings, strangers all around). Dr Whala made the experience calm and peaceful, and I am grateful for the wonderful service.
