Why I provide at-home pet euthanasia

There is truly no better way to honor our beloved pets last wishes than to help them pass, when its time, peacefully and painlessly in their sleep, at home, surrounded by family. I firmly believe it, because it is a desire we all would want when that time comes.

What pet parents are saying

Dr Karen was a perfect person to go through putting our beloved poodle,Tre down. She told us everything that she was doing and how it would affect Tre. It was special to have Tre is his own home with his blanket. It was a very gentle way to say goodbye. I would highly recommend Codapet and Dr Karen when you make this difficult decision for your pet.

Karen is a total pro, and made this event so much easier for both myself and my pet. She was calm, kind, caring, and transparent. I would HIGHLY recommend this service. My dog just peacefully fell asleep on the sofa without the stress of a vet office. As perfect as this type of experience can be.

It is never easy to say goodbye to our pets, who are truly a member of the family. Having this opportunity to have a vet come to my home, was such a blessing. Karen was wonderful! I couldn't have asked for or wanted for anything better. She was so patient, caring and kind. Her support and concern for Marley bear and myself, priceless! I am forever grateful that Dr. Karen Whala came for us on our day of need. She's the BEST!! Thank you, Susan Anderton
